Brian “Head” Welch / Harper Collins Publishers

Working directly with Brian Welch, former lead guitarist/co-founder of the multiplatinum band KoRn on several ongoing projects such as book illustrations for his latest book, apparel designs and album artwork. My contribution to Brian’s team has lead to a sold out apparel line and a New York Times best seller featuring 22 full page illustrations that have received much praise from old fans and new readers alike.

Nov. 2008 / Dec. 2009
Refused TV / Director Matthew Stawski
Worked to create music videos for two internationally recognized bands. It was my responsibility to work directly beside Grammy Nominated director Matthew Stawski as the creative director in creating characters, backgrounds and other artistic elements that would adhere to the clients strict vision and exceed their management companies expectations on a strict deadline and a shoe string budget.

March 2008 / Nov. 2009
Atlantic Records / Gym Class Heroes / CRUSH Management
I worked as the creative point of contact between Atlantic Records, CRUSH Management and front man Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. My job was to help realize the band’s artistic vision for their new album “The Quilt”, while still adhering to their Record Label and Management Companies’ requests and restrictions in order to target a specific demographic. The album debuted at #14 on the Billboard Top 200. The success of the artwork in helping to tie the album’s concepts together into a polished product has lead to additional work with Travis McCoy including working with MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation in late 2009.

Feb. 2007 / Jan. 2008
42 Entertainment / Trent Reznor / Year Zero
I was brought into a small team of artists put together by 42 Entertainment in order to help multi platinum artist Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails in the creation and execution of an Alternate Reality Game called Year Zero. This global marketing project was to be a build up to his 2007 and 2008 album releases. We created several guerilla style murals and paintings on the streets of Los Angeles, CA and London, UK which were designed in a way to include certain hidden messages that when deciphered lead to a free private concert. The Year Zero project was a huge success and lead to several interviews ranging from VH1 and MTV to Rolling Stones Magazine.
